KG Writing!

Get That Pencil Moving and Grooving!

Dear Parents,  

I am very proud to announce that KG pupils are now writing words and sentences.  In term one and two the pupils did many pre-writing exercises in order to improve their pencil control.  Each pupil now has a 'Draw and Write' book which they use to write in once per week.  If you would like to do extra copy writing with them at home, it would be a great advantage to your child.  We ask the pupils what they would like to draw and then ask them what they want to write.  We write it down for them and then they copy write.  This is the first step to writing by themselves.
