Dear Parents,
Before we went to the jungle we had to put on our sun hats and boots. Miss Charlotte gave us some binoculars so that we could see things far away from us. Some of us took bananas with us for a snack and we carried water with us. The Jungle was so far away. We had to take a boat and an airplane to get there. We sang 'Row, Row, Row Your Boat' and the 'Airplane' song on our journey. We also sang some of our favourite nursery rhymes on the way. When we got to the jungle, we had to be really quiet so as not to disturb the animals living there. We saw flowers and trees, especially banana trees. Some of the bananas were green and some were yellow. We saw many animals in the jungle such as elephants and tigers. Some of us were very scared but we held each other's hands to make us feel safe. After our trek we sat down on mats and ate a snack. We were soooo exhausted after the trip but had so much to talk about!
